Iphone 14 pro will not vibrate or sound off when phone is face down.

This happened to me on my iPhone 7 plus. When I finally upgraded and transferred my account over to the 14, the problem followed. Whenever my phone is in my pocket or face down it will not notify me either with vibration or sound. I believe the problem lies with my apple account. I've reset my all my settings nothing changes. case or no case, same issue. I also noticed when I transferred my account over, devices I was able to Bluetooth would not allow my new phone to connect. I believe this issue it due to a bug in my account. Please help Apple.

In the meantime, let’s check for a software update and make sure that you are running the latest version of iOS 16.

While it isn't inherently assured that an update will resolve the issue, updating to the latest software version for your device can help isolate potential software issues.

Kindly secure a backup and update.

Then, disable vibrate, and enable it back.

The steps below can guide you.

  1. "On iPhone 7 and later, go to Settings > Sounds & Haptics. On earlier iPhone models, go to Settings > Sounds.
  2. Choose what you want to adjust, like Ringtone or New Mail.
  3. Tap the alert tone that you want. You can also tap Vibration and choose a vibration pattern or make a custom vibration."

If you are using a custom vibration, please disable it.

Then, check if disabling your custom vibration helps.

  1. "Go to Settings > Sounds & Haptics or Settings > Sounds.
  2. Select an option (like Ringtone or New Mail) under Sounds and Haptic Patterns or Sounds and Vibration Patterns.
  3. Tap Vibration, then tap Create New Vibration.
  4. Tap the screen to create a pattern, then tap Stop.
  5. Tap Play to test your vibration.
  6. Tap Save and name your pattern. You can also tap Record to redo the custom vibration."

As for the Bluetooth-related issue, please try the steps below.

  1. "Make sure that your Bluetooth accessory and iOS or iPadOS device are close to each other.
  2. Turn your Bluetooth accessory off and back on again.
  3. Make sure that your Bluetooth accessory is on and fully charged or connected to power. If your accessory uses batteries, see if they need to be replaced.
  4. If there's an app that you use with the Bluetooth accessory, go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Bluetooth on your iOS or iPadOS device, and make sure that you've turned on Bluetooth for the app."
