Please do not confuse Settings app for Wallet app! The Wallet app is where you start to navigate to for approval for Apple Savings account.

All went well. Please note that I persisted in opening the app via settings, where the is no "More" button. As soon as I opened the app from the home page, I found it.
It is only available in the USA.
Has nothing to do with paying for an iPhone.

Second poster here: checked both those boxes. Still no access to “open savings.” Maybe because I’m still paying for the phone?
How do you get verify? I have an Apple Card and I’ve been using it. However when I try to set up savings it tells me it’s unavailable. I called savings support and they said it’s an ongoing thing and they can’t do anything on their end. So I’m won if it’s an apple problem or the bank?
I have updated my iOS. I have verified my Apple Card and cash. I have signed out of my Apple ID and restarted my phone. Yet, when I try to open an apple savings account it says Apple Pay services are currently unavailable. Support has not helped at all.
