Hi, I am using an iPhone14 running iOS version 16.4.1.
I am unable to create shared photo albums - I haven't tried this probably for 12 months so not sure when the facility started to be problematic. I have previously created umpteen shared albums and am well within my iCloud storage capacity.
Any suggestions please.

The Shared albums are not using youriCloud Storage subscription, they are using a different iCloud service and the storage is free, but limited. Have you perhaps exceeded one of these limits? See:
