There may be some slight differences per country where BritBox offers their services, but it should be the same catalog for direct subscribers, app subscribers, and in-app channel subscribers.

Apple TV app Channels are monthly only, afaik, so a year subscription would be through BritBox directly. Ask them for possibilities.

Content providers can’t take responsibility for what apps are supported on your devices. Subscriptions through the content provider directly, require that separate content provider app, not the Apple TV app.
