Macbook Air has glitched

My Macbook Air randomly glitched today. It has a black screen with coloured lines to the left side. It is not turning on and just opens to that. I can’t do anything to fix it can anyone help please?

Hi 5u31a,

We appreciate you reaching out to us.

Have you had the chance to force shutdown the device by pressing and holding the power button?

If yes and the issue persists, please boot into safe mode.

Safe mode does a basic check of your startup disk, similar to using First Aid in Disk Utility.

Performing this step may help resolve the issue, or further isolate the issue.
