Can I charge my Apple Pencil with my iPhone?

Charging with an iPhone is not supported for either Apple Pencil model. The Apple Pencil 2 will ONLY charge magnetically with a compatible iPad.The Apple Pencil 1 will charge with an iPad’s Lightning connector or with an external charger. Here is more information→Charge your Apple Pencil and check the battery - Apple Support


While charging an Apple Pencil 1 with an iPhone might work, it isn’t a supported use. And why would you? An Apple Pencil cannot be used with an iPhone.
