Apple Classical on Homepod Mini

I love the search capability of the Apple Music Classical app - it’s great for discovering new music but there’s one frustration. I know the app is iPhone only but why no way to send music and play it on HomePod Minis with better sound quality? Putting my phone next to the HomePod Mini does transfer it but always loses the first moments of the music while transferring. Surely an excellent iPhone app could have a “send to (device)” option to ensure the best music experience? Has anyone found a workaround that doesn’t involve missing the start of each piece of music?
