What is the best antivirus for mac?

Here's something to share with your brother:

Whenever he is surfing the web and some window pops up to tell him the computer has been scanned and infection found, or compromised or "Important - Install immediately!!!"... it's definitely a scam... a popup from whatever website he's visiting. The macOS will never display a legit message in that way. The best thing to do will be close that browser window and avoid that website in the future.

Websites can't scan the Mac computer for viruses or malware.

Never click those messages.

Never call those phone numbers.

in windows I would also advice just to stick with ms build in stuff and then run malwarebytes the free version every now and then
