I use an Apple Airport Express 7.8.1 to connect to an analog Denon stereo and play through its speakers. Recently changed my router from an Apple Airport Extreme to a Netgear Nighthawk 5-Stream Dual-Band WiFi 6. Can this new router pair with the Airport Express to play music through the Denon stereo?

I am nearly certain there is way to accomplish what you seek but my equipment is exclusively Apple, so I won't be able to duplicate what I would otherwise suggest. I am also nearly certain the solution will require connecting your Express to the non-Apple router with an Ethernet cable, and reconfiguring the Express to use that connection instead of a wireless one.
