Just upgraded my iPhone 14 and now the Home Screen is locked. Any ideas?

Hi Marvinoliver,

It is expected that you unlock your iPhone with the passcode after a restart, which is part of the update process. This article explains how to unlock with your passcode:

Wake and unlock iPhone - Apple Support

Unlock iPhone with a passcode
If you didn’t create a passcode when you set up iPhone, see Set a passcode on iPhone.
1. Swipe up from the bottom of the Lock Screen (on an iPhone with Face ID) or press the Home button (on other iPhone models).
2. Enter your passcode.
To lock iPhone again, press the side button. iPhone locks automatically if you don’t touch the screen for a minute or so.

If your iPhone is locked because of too many passcode attempts, you'll need to erase and set it up again to remove the passcode.

If you see an iPhone or iPad unavailable message or Security Lockout screen, you may be able to use your Apple ID and password to reset it.

Kindest Regards.
