How to tell watch I woke up early?

How do I tell the watch that I woke up early so it terminates the sleep session without deleting all the data?

I think once it asked me if I was awake...it never happened any other time.

I hit sleep in the watch control center and it just deleted all the data.

Has this ever been fixed?

Sleep tracking stops when alarm goes off Sleep tracking stops when the alarm goes off, it does not matter if I am still asleep or not. Has anyone been able to fix that? As much as I would like to stick to my sleeping routine and wake up at the scheduled times, somedays I am just too tired and want to sleep in. I don't understand why the watch just relies on the scheduled time for the alarm instead of using its sensors to tell if I'm still asleep or not. I've seen suggestions to cancel the next alarm, but that does not fix this. The decision to sleep in is taken in the morning, when the alarm goes off, lol!
