How can I add a device to my devices? My husband was using a iPhone of mine and it was stolen recently and the Apple ID was changed. I call my service provider and had the service transfer to another phone that I own. If I add the phone that now has the service added to my devices can I use or create a Apple ID so I Can unlock the phone? Or can I get pass login information storedfrom iCloud ?
You can simply log in using your Apple ID.
For the ID to be changed, the thief would need to be able to authenticate into your device using Touch ID or Face ID (or know your passcode). That seems unlikely depending on the circumstances. The phone that has the service now was also stolen but was recovered using find my phone app. It has only been four months since the that that was recovered and the iPhone 13 that now has been stolen. I definitely know what the Apple ID was on the iPhone 13 I purchased was correct and had to have been changed because I tried to locate it on find my phone app and it wouldn’t accept the Apple ID I had!
