Credentials to authenticate device after factory reset

Hi, after a full factory reset my iPad does no longer accept my Apple ID credentials. Therefore the configuration cannot continue. Any helpful advice is highly appreciated!

This is not the answer you were hoping for:


Since that’s NOT your eMail on the screen, the bottom line is that your iPad is locked to a previous owner and will remain unusable to you until THAT owner “releases” the lock.


How to remove Activation Lock - Apple Support


Any subsequent good faith purchase of the device is irrelevant.


The fact remains that the iPad was NOT properly prepared by the prior user to be used by the subsequent user - YOU.
