My Macbooks battery performance has gotten worse after a year since purchase

Since a month or so the battery of my Macbook 14inch 2021 suddenly drains much faster. At the moment my battery is already around 30% after 3-4 hours, which was not the case before. When I click on my battery it says "high power consumption" and points to InDesign (see image), even though my InDesign app is not open. I do not know if this might be the problem, but it always mentions InDesign even when I am not using the app. Does somebody know how to get rid off this? Or what else might be the problem?

Welcome!

A known issue is having anti-virus and so-called "cleaning" apps installed. Both can significantly reduced battery runtime. Client-side VPNs, the ones touted in TV adverts all evening long, may also negatively affect runtime.

The Adobe CS apps are heavy-duty and can be expected to stress the battery when open, but I do not believe that they should continue use energy once you quit them. Do any Adobe processes show up in Activity Monitor? To get a full picture of things running in the background, Activity Monitor's "View" setting must be set to "All Processes."

Have you looked in Abode's user forums to see if the "run-on" advisory in battery status is something others have experienced? That might be worth yoru time.
