If you did not previously see the the above screen you’ll see this screen that has a live view picture as represented by the white box. Please align your card within the boarder.
The live view camera will capture you account numbers etc. Please verify that all the information matches exactly what is stamped or imprinted on your card. Make any corrections as necessary.
If your card cannot be accurately scanned/captured please move to a well lit area and try again. If it can’t be captured follow the red arrow to enter account details manually.
You can send funds directly to your Apple Savings account using Apple Savings account numbers and routing numbers. You can access card details from the Dashboard for savings in your Apple Card in your Wallet in your iPhone. This is via ACH and take generally 1 to 3 business days.
You can also send funds from your bank to Apple Cash and then from Apple Cash to your Apple Savings account. This type of transfer is virtually instant and just takes a few seconds to initiate the transfer and receive the funds.
If you’d like assistance or have questions just post a reply.
Yes, you can deposit a check into your Apple Savings account. Below are the requirements for a check per Apple Savings Deposit Agreement.

I am having trouble getting money to my Apple savings..... I have my bank account attached to my Apple card so I can pay my bill. When I try to add funds to my apple savings I can not. I tried to go the apple cash way to get money there but I need to add a debit card and am told that my card does not support this? Im just confused and am wondering why I cant just use the same info that Apple already has from where I pay my bill to send money to the savings account?? frustrated here...arrgh!
Yes I do…. Its the same institution I pay my Apple card with.
I went through the steps to setup apple cash… it asked for my debit card and I did the steps… it then said something about my debit card or institution doesn't support something? I can pay my bill just fine from my account but I cant send money to this savings account with the same account info? Doesnt make sense.
Sorry for all questions, but I wasn’t understanding one of the factors involved. Have you called your bank and verified they do not support Apple Pay? That really would be the next step. Once you have that information we can proceed.
If you have already confirmed your financial institution does not support Apple Pay then we’ll go to setting up ACH transfers. ACH transfers just take longer to move to Apple Savings and availability of funds transferred is not near instant. Please let me know how you want to proceed?
I was on with CS with goldman sachs after my issues. I was instructed by their CS to contact my bank and link my apple savings account numbers to my bank account. I was told by my local bank/credit union after I called them that is not an option.
Im confused also because any time I have had to verify an account to deposit money… say to robinhood for an example. I input my bank info and they verify by sending a small deposit to my bank and then ask me what those deposits were. After that I can move money between accounts. I can pay my apple card with my bank account that is linked? Why can I just use the same to deposit money to thus savings?
How would you like it if you walked into your doctors office and he was treating 5 people, 20 people, or 100 people all at the same time and in the same room? No one would learn a thing and no one would get the answers they want or need. If you have an issue with a a product, device, service then create a separate post and everyone will get treated in their turn. Please, as I stated before, patience is required if we’re going to provide the answers/solutions you need to move forward and help you reach your goals.
Sorry, Im confused? I am not sure what etiquette I didn't follow or what upset you.
I am appreciative of your responses and help but I don't understand what happened for the tone to change.. thanks again.
I’m not upset. If I confused you or upset you, it’s me that should be sorry. All I’m asking is i can only deal with one issue at a time. I’ll gladly help you to. But we post interfere and come in the middle of what I’m doing, it interrupts what I’m doing and confuses me and potentially other readers/viewers.
I run my view for the community/posts in flat view view. It’s how my brain is wired. I realize that you may have threaded view enabled and it makes sense to you, but to me it causes confusion.
Just create a new post or in other ask your question, just not in the middle of someone else’s issue. I’ll see your post and if I think those post will benefit you, I’ll link to it.
I hope to see your question in a few minutes when I’m done with this community member issue.
I get an error saying my debit card is not able to use apple pay…. This is likely an issue with my small town credit union. I just don't understand why I cant just transfer money from the same account I pay my apple card with. Ill try Goldman sachs customer service later.
thank you
