Deleted icloud account by mistake

Hi everyone, this is my first time to use the community. I did something stupid on my phone!!!!! I had 2 iClouds accounts connected to my phone - my personal one and an older one connected to my old work email - i am retired now almost 2 years.

I was doing a little phone housekeeping and i mistakenly deleted the iCloud account connected to the old work address.

Setting/contacts/accounts - and it showed the old account and i deleted it - not realizing the impact it would have ---- about 99% of my contacts were connected to this account. So they are all gone. Yikes!!! Any suggestions on how to recover it? Note that i am unable to log into the old icloud account now.

Hi there eamonnver1,

You can't sign in with two different Apple ID accounts on your iPhone, so we'll need some clarity in order to help. Where exactly did you delete this iCloud account on your iPhone?

If you aren't able to access the account or email address anymore, you may not be able to recover your Contacts. Why aren't you able to login exactly? Did you forget the password for the account? If so, you can try resetting it with the steps in this link: If you forgot your Apple ID password - Apple Support
