My daughter deleted a couple of notes when I was leaving with my Macbook Pro opened. I logged into my iCloud account and found out only the notes on iPhone are synced. Is there any reliable way to recover deleted notes on my Mac?

Troubleshooting Lost Notes on a Mac:
A. iCloud in Settings:
Look in iCloud settings in each device, and make sure that Notes is clicked. If it is, then unclick it, and then click it again.
B. New iCloud Session:
Try logging out of iCloud on every device, and then logging back in. Perhaps it all needs to resync?

Search through iCloud:
Download all of iCloud, and then browse through the download using the Search Bar on the top-right corner of the Finder window.

If they were never backed up, then they are gone.

Create an iCloud Backup:

Troubleshooting Deleted Photos:
Loss of data is something you would have agreed to upon opening an Apple Account. So, if the following does not work, then they are gone. That's just the way it is :(
Four Tactics to Try:
A. Start here: If you're Missing Photos or Videos in the Photos app - Apple Support
B. Check iCloud Directly:
See if they reside in iCloud Photos. Log in here: https://www.icloud.com/photos
C. Use a Time Machine Backup:
Did you backup your Mac, recently? If so, then restore your Mac from that. You'd backup you Mac prior to doing so, and then restore your data from the backup you just created, through use of Migration Assistant.
D. Where Else to Check:
It turns out my Mac is not synced with iCloud. Only my iphone does, lol
