Is This Legitimate?
Hello!
I recently plugged in my iPhone charger, and this message came up:
So I tapped dismiss, (the charge icon went away,) and plugged the cable out from my iPhone, then plugged it in again. Then the message came on again. This time, with more details, and an Emergency Override option:
So I unplugged my cable, put it on a heater, and went for a different cable, that had been lying on the floor by a heater all day. Sure enough, the message came on again. This time, it was blunt, and still had the Emergency Override option:
My concern is, is this a legitimate message from Apple, considering the fact that it was different three times?
And what is a lightning connector even? Is the message referring to my cable?
BTW, I unplugged and plugged back in my second charger a few times, now more working fine.
Any insight appreciated!
