Warranty

Hello friends! I have recently bought MacBook and when checking the serial number on official website I saw I should approve the date of purchase. I logged in and did that, on 14th April. The same day I opened my Mac and registered via my Apple ID. So the question is actually when the date of warranty begins? After purchase being approved or rather after activation of the Mac? Just wonder. Thank you 😊

Warranties normally begin on the day of purchase - although Apple’s online [estimated date of] warranty commencement often begins upon the date of initial device activation.

In many countries, should you ever need to make a claim upon your device warranty, you will usually be required to produce a copy of your Sales Invoice with which to demonstrate warranty entitlement.
