Google Sign in prompt - not fixed. Apple pls do something.

I have tried multiple times to stop the google sign in prompt on safari and other sites searched /navigated to , on Safari. My OS and Safari are up to date.

I have read all the guidance and carefully follow:

Go to Security.

Find the "Google Account sign-in prompts" toggle.

Turn it off.

This does not work and the fact it does not is evil and obnoxious.

The above screenshot is proof of following the available instructions. Apple pls save us from this Google nonsense. Contacting Google is impossible and it is interfering with my OS and IOS experience.

Good question. How is Google able to manipulate the Apple OS and Safari to pop up these sign in requests? Further, once you follow Google's published advice , it doesn't work as demonstrated above.

Seems to me it is a Google attempt to circumvent Apple and/or compete for Apple Keychain users.

Well, I never get those prompts, so I don’t know how it could be Apple. I do have a Gmail account. The only time I ever see anything similar, there are also options to sign in with FacePlant, Apple, and a few other Auth services. Those are on the website, not some widget in macOS.

Yes. That's the notice I see. I think it's more likely that Google isn't communicating my decision to not see this notice to the vendors. I've sent Google feedback but don't have high hopes they'll even reply.

I do not have a Google account. I closed my Google account long ago and I have not used Gmail in years. I don't use anything Google, yet I still get several prompts to sign in with Google every day. I am sick of it and I'm sick of Google. Please Apple, help us.

I did this but I'm still getting the prompts. I'm only signed into one google account in this version of my browser (Chrome). I have another Chrome window open where I'm signed into a different Google account. I did the same thing for that account, but it also had no effect.

First, congrats on never seeing this annoying Google prompt! I am SO sick of it.

Second, the screenshot is from the Google Security Settings, not Safari. Mine is also switched off but I still get them constantly.

In what app? Do you have a Goolag Security App?

I think you should just get rid of that app if you want to get rid of the notifications.

As I mentioned, I've never seen any prompts like that.

I suspect you're right about Apple not being the issue.
