Google Sign in prompt - not fixed. Apple pls do something.

If so, this is a question for Adorama, who allow you to use Google identification to access your Adorama account. It has nothing to do with Apple.

That's not especially helpful.

Super annoying, even if you sign in once, it’ll pop up again and again

FWIW I signed out of Google, rebooted my computer, a 2021 M1 Mac Mini running 13.3.1 (22E261).

I then signed back into Google and checked to be sure the setting was still "disabled".

Well, I never get those prompts, so I don’t know how it could be Apple. I do have a Gmail account. The only time I ever see anything similar, there are also options to sign in with FacePlant, Apple, and a few other Auth services. Those are on the website, not some widget in macOS.

Yes. That's the notice I see. I think it's more likely that Google isn't communicating my decision to not see this notice to the vendors. I've sent Google feedback but don't have high hopes they'll even reply.

To remove the prompt you need to totally separate yourself from Google. If you are on a Mac go to these locations and remove all Google files. Go to Finder > Go > Go to Folder, and paste the locations there:

/Library/LaunchDaemons

/Library/LaunchAgents

~/Library/LaunchAgents

For Mac and iPhone, remove Google as your search option. Going to a Google site or site returned from Google search results may prompt for the sign in since you are using their service.

I would also consider moving away from Gmail if you have an account there.

I did this but I'm still getting the prompts. I'm only signed into one google account in this version of my browser (Chrome). I have another Chrome window open where I'm signed into a different Google account. I did the same thing for that account, but it also had no effect.

In what app? Do you have a Goolag Security App?

I think you should just get rid of that app if you want to get rid of the notifications.

As I mentioned, I've never seen any prompts like that.

I suspect you're right about Apple not being the issue.

I'll try giving Google some feedback. If anything comes of it, I'll post back.
