How do I fix "waiting for activation" message

I want to use my phone number for messages but get the message "waiting for activation" How do I fix this?

i cant activation iMessage activation I got a phone on 2023 december, IOS is the latest version. From the first day of activation of the phone, my I message is not working so instead of e sim im using regular sim card. After a sim card it didnt work again and i change sim card twice. The local IT cant help me they said to contact to apple to get support. Please help me. I never faced this problem in my life

Phone number activation for iMessage I recently took my Sim out of my phone, and when I inserted it back, and tried to activate my iMessage with my phone number, I was getting the error activation unsuccessful. I tried everything in the Apple articles and nothing seems to work. iMessage Will only use my Apple ID for iMessage. I tried resetting my phone, restarting, and it’s still not working. Why can’t I no longer use my phone number for iMessage? Please note that my phone number was working before with iMessage. What could possibly cause this?
