Cannot connect iPhone to Mac

Hi. My iPhone SE2020 with iOs 16.1 and my MacBook Pro 2017 with macOS Ventura 13.3.1 cannot connect. I try to connect my mac to the IPhone wifi zone and returns an error. When I try to Find my iPhone in my mac, it's impossible, and cannot reproduce any sound with the app. Both connected to my apple id. What can I do?

iPhone SE, iOS 16

Hey dani2001es,

We’d be happy to help out, but it’s not entirely clear what you’re trying to accomplish. To start, it looks like you’re running outdated software on your iPhone. To get fully updated, go to Settings > General > Software Update and download iOS 16.4.1 and get that installed. For more info, check out: Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

Next, now that you’re fully updated, if still having an issue, what exactly are you trying to accomplish? You mentioned using Find My iPhone, but it doesn’t sound like your iPhone is missing. What do you mean when you say, you try to connect your Mac to the iPhone Wi-Fi zone? Are you potentially talking about using Peronal Hotspot to share your iPhone’s data connection with your Mac so you can get online when Wi-Fi isn’t available?

If so, you’ll find help setting up Personal Hotspot using these steps:

Set up Personal Hotspot
1. Go to Settings > Cellular > Personal Hotspot or Settings > Personal Hotspot.
2. Tap the slider next to Allow Others to Join.

If you don't see the option for Personal Hotspot, contact your carrier to make sure that you can use Personal Hotspot with your plan.

This is outlined further here: How to set up a Personal Hotspot on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

We hope this helps out, but if not, please provide more details to help us bettter understand your goal.

Take care!
