New Apple Watch series 8 wont pair to iPhone

I have just unboxed a new Series 8 Watch..

It will not pair either way

It Displays 'Paring Failed' when using the camera every time.

When trying to pair manually, It asks for a 6 digit code that is displayed on the watch face, But there is no code displayed on the Watch Face ... only the number of the watch for the pairing

I have reset the watch several times and turn both devices on and off several times

Online Support Chat unable to help and has been escalated but not until tomorrow

Any ideas before they call tomorrow?

At this point, your best option may be to make an appointment at the Genius Bar in an Apple Store near you and let them look at it if you can't wait until tomorrow:
