With the latest update, VR video on safari plays upside down/inverted in landscape, no matter which direction you flip the phone. (iPhone 12 pro) Is there a fix?

Go to settings, safari, advanced, experimental features, scroll down to “Screen Orientation API” turn that off and it seems to work fine again.
Some say it’s only IOS issue but I have the same problem on Chrome. Vr on split screen.
What exactly did you do to get it to work?
Turned off everything as suggested but still upside down.
I set back to default and just turned off the screen orientation API but still upside down.
pathetic they promote their overpriced goggles while vr isnt even working for months on ios
Updated to 16.5.1 just now. They didn’t fix it.
I have an iPhone 14 there is not a SCREEN ORIENTATION listed in my advanced list.
What else might it be called?

Based on my test now it is a bug in Chrome. Apps are working fine as well as other browsers like Safari after the changes in settings.

You just need to turn off one of them. It is the “Screen Orientation API”. Turn that off, and it works fine.
