Can someone hack my iPhone via voicemail?

I miss the call from my ex and it went onto my voicemail recording everything that was happening on his side of the phone. I think he may have butt dialed me and didn’t know it. I’ve been thinking he’s been cheating for two years on me, and this would explain a lot this voicemail, but when I looked it up, it said something about some hackers can get into your voicemail account with that number or something is that correct?

Troubleshooting Hacked Voice Mail:

A. Change the Voicemail PIN:

No one is hacking your phone, unless it has been jailbroken. If this was purchased form apple, then no worries there. So, go into your voicemail options, changing the voicemail PIN. Ask you carrier to do so, as is a setting that is performed on your provider's end, and nothing on your iPhone's end.

B. Rid of Suspicious Items:

Set this Up Anew: If you are so concerned, then reset your iPhone, as if you were to sell it. Perform as interacted here, including the iCloud Logout and backup creation: What to do Before you Sell, Give Away, or Trade in your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
