What model / year MacBook Air do you have exactly? click here ➜ Identify your MacBook Air model - Apple Support

Is it really running OSx 10.10 Yosemite as suggested by your device line? If not, what OS version is it currently running?

Go into the Apple Menu ➜ About This Mac section, and tell us exactly what model year you have.

An Early 2015 MacBook Air is capable of updating all the way to macOS 12 Monterey.

You may need to update to High Sierra first however.

Also, note that anything past macOS 10.15 Catalina, will no longer run 32 bit apps so you will have to verify any apps you have are 64 bit compatible to work on macOS versions past Catalina.
