I need to update my macOS and i should be possible from reading but isn't showing up, what can have gone wrong?
I have a macbook air 13inch from 2017 and i need to update to at least macOS 10.15. The version running is 10.13.6

A late 2010 through mid 2011 MacBook Air can be upgraded to High Sierra 10.13.6 but no later version. See: How to download and install macOS - Apple Support
