Can you login and check your savings account on a desktop or mobile web?
I'm trying to link it to my portfolio dashboard for a holistic view and just hitting three dots to see my balance doesn't do much for me.

People keep wanting to pigeonhole Apple into doing ‘what everybody else does’. The Apple Card website is an attempt to placate those types. The Apple Card, Apple Cash, and now the Savings account are the conceptions of Apple and Goldman Sachs bank as a new type of strictly online and digital system meant to be administered from the Wallet App on an iPhone only. They, as you now know, are not like every other credit card, debit card, savings account that have been around since banks were invented. Apple’s services also do not connect to financial software like Quicken either. That’s not an omission or accident. It’s intentional.
I have provided a link to Apple’s Feedback pages. Fill it out and express your desire for the Savings account to be web based. Apple does not respond but states that every Feedback submission is read. If enough people request this then something might happen.

No, the savings account is administered through the Apple Card in your Wallet app only. There is no website.
Fact. Your only access to your Apple Savings account is through your iPhone, period. If that’s a deal killer for you then close your Apple Savings Account.
Or it's more playing nice in the sand rather than a blatant refusal to integrate with other platforms in an effort to further isolate Apple users. Otherwise, it makes no sense why I can't add my savings account to my Capital Group portfolio dashboard for convenience like all other institutions.
You have choices. No one is twisting your arm to participate. None of us here are Apple employees, just volunteers attempting to help. We are not under any constraints to refrain from posting our opinions, nor are you. So if you find this unacceptable you may close your account. Apple offers this service on the terms it states. If this is not for you then so be it, find another high yield savings account to put your money in and be happy.
So you can log in to the apple card online but not your savings account? That make no sense.
Any additional entry point is a security risk.

No it is not. You can login to a bank account from a mobile app, web app, or desktop application and they should all be equally secure.
