How to disable iCloud storage update

I am trying to figure out and see if the iCloud notification about buy storage can go away. I’ve deleted as many photos that I’m willing to take off because I don’t know how to transfer them onto anything. And setting notifications bug me. I’ve tried looking for a way to at least get rid of the notifications to settings but I don’t have any luck. I’m too strapped to buy anymore storage than I need so that’s out the window. If there’s any suggestions on how to get rid of the setting notification all at once besides throwing my phone at the wall, it would be greatly appreciated. :)
