The iTunes application could not be opened. An unknown error occurred (13010)

It's not working on my macbook.
It always recreats the file when I start iTunes.

Had exact same error and followed your advise by deleting Genius file and it worked perfectly. One more iTunes error resolved and several more to go. Thank you very much for the helpful advise!
