I had a different problem with the same 13010 error message: iTunes wasn't letting me import an mp4 music video. I deleted genius like you said, and that did the trick!

I also tried removing the Genius library - now I don't even get an error message - iTunes just freezes when I try to launch it and doesn't appear in the finder. All I can see is "Application not responding" when I Cmd-click on the iTunes icon in the dock. Reinstall?
