macbook air didnt finish downloading new version OS

didnt finish downloading all the updates, then the macbook air doesnt start up only blank screen and sounds. so depressing

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 10.15

Reinstall the macOS:

Nothing would be lost. It's just that misplaced items would be placed back to where they should be and corrupt system files would be replaced by clean files. Go Here: Reinstall macOS - Apple Support. Use the third bulleted method: [command + r].


What to Connect:

  • External Monitor:

Connect an external monitor to see what it is you are doing.


  • Ethernet Adapter:

If ou have the availability, then connect using Ethernet. This would be an adapter to use: The Belkin USB-C to Gigabit Ethernet Adapter - Apple
