There are 3 variations of the 14 series phones sold in the world.

The US version is dual eSIM only. It does not take a physical SIM at all.

The version sold in China, Hong Kong, and Macau is dual physical SIM only. It does not have an eSIM.

In the rest of the world, the phone is one physical SIM and one eSIM.

No. If it supports 2 SIM cards only (manufactured for China, Macao, HongKong markets) you can't add any eSIMs.
