Ive adjusted various settings , dark mode, auto dim and others - but for instance sometimes when I pull the phone out to use it, unlock the screen, its dimmed and sometimes with use it brightens and sometimes not. And really weird to me - ill take a screen shot so id have something to show the rep., and then the picture and the screen look normal ( more bright) when I go to view the screenshot! Ive even called apple about it , but by the time I use the phone to make the call, the screen is normal again... Any ideas?

iPhone 17 iOS 26.3 continually dimming screen brightness? iPhone 17 running on iOS 26.3 continually dimming the screen brightness. Most noticeable after using from Nightstand mode but is now continually doing it after pushing the brightness back up. If I take the brightness up to a little over 50% and then the next time I go back to open the phone it will be down to around 30%. Auto brightness is off, adaptive power is off, tap to zoom is off. Possible iOS 26.3 bug?

My iPhone 12 promax screen dims My iPhone 12 promax dims several layers down in bright light, even in the shade. Particularly annoying when using for GPS motorcycling on a bright day. Apple store did all they can, even replaced things. Help!
