Blank screen web shortcuts

With WhatsApp not releasing in iPad format, I've been using web form of WhatsApp.

So I opened this web on Safari and created a shortcut to my home screen.

This worked for a few while, my WhatsApp shortcut helped me opened up WhatsApp from the home screen like an app. However after a few while, this stops working. The shortcut gave me a blank screen instead of opening up web WhatsApp. I don’t know what happened but this continued on to the Safari app as well. When I try opening up my web WhatsApp, it gave me blank screens. Need help with this. Thanks a lot!

If you are having difficulties accessing the WhatsApp web service, or other websites, try clearing you cached website data:

Settings > Safari > Clear History & Website Data

Having cleared your cached data, perpform a forced-restart:

Force restart iPad (models with Face ID or with Touch ID in the top button)

If your iPad doesn’t have the Home button, do the following:

  1. Press and quickly release the volume button nearest to the top button.
  2. Press and quickly release the volume button farthest from the top button.
  3. Press and hold the top button.
  4. When the Apple logo appears, release the top button.

Force restart iPad (models with the Home button)

Press and hold the top button and the Home button at the same time. When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.
