There are no user on this on volume recovery for Macbook pro

I am not able to start up the macbook pro. It shows “there are no users on this volume to revelry”.

What is the exact model of your Mac? If you can boot normally or into Safe Mode, then you can get this information by clicking the Apple menu and selecting "About This Mac", otherwise you can get this information by entering the system serial number here:

Check Your Service and Support Coverage - Apple Support


Are you getting this message when the laptop is booting into Recovery Mode? If so and you have a 2018+ model, then you will need to "Restore" the firmware to fix the issue unless you can boot the laptop normally (or in Safe Mode). "Restoring" the firmware will destroy all data on the internal SSD so I hope you have a backup.

FYI, it is best to always post the exact model of the device and OS being used.
