iPhone 12 Pro in a 2018 F-150 CarPlay, fast forward and reverse stopped working.

I have an iPhone 12 Pro and I regularly use CarPlayy in a 2018 F-150. Somewhere along the way fast forward and reverse stopped working for Music. This has been going on since sometime after iOS 15 was released and has persisted through all updates since. I read that turning lossless audio off could help but it didn’t work. Even stranger is that fast forward and rewind works on my wife’s iPhone 13 Pro in the same vehicle.

Any ideas for a fix?

My fast forward and reverse has also stopped working on my 2018 xlt a couple days ago before and after iOS 16 update, thinking if my infotainment itself needs an update, maybe?
