Logic board failure from Airplay

My M1 Pro died as I was Airplaying the desktop to my TV. Everything was working fine, the laptop was cool, and then it suddenly shut off to never work again. I am wondering if anyone else has/had this problem?

Right now, my M1 Pro does not charge (no light on the charger), does not turn on. The trackpad is unresponsive and the Genius said It required a new logic board. There is zero damage, even cosmetic to my laptop. Unfortunately, my warranty was less than 2 months expired. I only owned this laptop for 1 year, 1 month, and 20 some days until it died. I am wondering if I can resolve this some other way than taking a personal loan to fix my only laptop that I have for school and certification exams?

Unfortunately...no.

I'm assuming Apple tried to "Restore" the firmware when they were diagnosing the laptop. If you have access to another Mac running macOS 12.4+ (last time I checked, but Apple keeps upping this requirement), then you try this yourself. Keep in mind the "Restore" will destroy all data on the laptop....since the laptop won't power on anyway I guess it doesn't really matter at this point.
