How do I know who is calling me?

That is shown to you using Caller ID. Caller ID requires both your cellular carrier and the caller to authorize sending it to you.

If the caller is in your contacts, or if the caller has enabled caller id from their end … you will see the caller’s name. Otherwise, you should at least see the phone number and possibly their location.
