My watch isn't charging

I am using an apple charger that I've had no issues with before. There is no damage to the cable. The little green lighting bolt lights up and then turns off. After 15 min, there is no change. I've tried everything in the article

Apple Watch won’t charge all of a sudden My Apple Watch Series 6 won’t charge all of a sudden after a trip to the beach. I fid not try another charger cable though since I’m currently on vacation. I did clean both the Watch and the cable (which had worked a couple of hours before the problem.
