Horrible iPhone Autocorrect Fail

My iPhone refuses to type the word “in”. Sometimes it will even change it after I have selected it in the left predictive text tab. I have a professional/ technical job and I use my phone to communicate at work. Instead of typing the word “in” it will type either “I’m”, “on”, or “I” but never “in”. This has caused numerous problems for me. For example, when people ask me questions like where I left the keys and I reply “I left them on the car” and they proceed to waste ten minutes looking anywhere but IN the car. Other than confusion and wasted time it’s also making me look like a complete idiot to everyone I communicate with via text. I have tried resetting the keyboard, resetting the phone, making a shortcut where I direct my phone to type “in” whenever I type the word “in”, and twenty different other fixes and nothing works. I am willing to try anything at this point even things I have already tried.

This really is the granddaddy nightmare of all autocorrect fails and this has been going on for almost a year now. As annoying as it is I have kind of gotten used to it, but I have my moments when it gets to me.

I am begging anyone with even one molecule of compassion in their body to help me fix this unbelievable problem. HELP!!!
