how to stop my mac from ringing when my phone rings

I work remotely and am on the phone a lot. I do not want to turn all sounds off as I need to hear notifications. I also do not want to go in do not disturb as I could miss phone calls I need to take (I never know who is going to call and I need to grab calls). I would like the option to take a call on my Mac if I want to, I'd just like to shut off the ringing on my mac when I do get a call. Any way to do that? Thank you!
