Does Apple drop you from a joint account when you apply for yourself
How can I apply for my own Apple Card and drop the membership I have in my husband's account? I though it will automatically drop me from my husband's account when applying.

Everyone is limited to one Apple Card account, whether it be individual or joint account. Just one Apple Card per person. When you’re a joint Apple Card owner and apply for an individual account, the joint account is closed for both co-owners. The other co-owner will need to apply for their own individual account and there is no guarantee either co-owner will be approved for an individual account. In addition the closed joint account must still be paid in full and each party is responsible for total balance due on the joint account. Until the joint account is paid in full, individual account could have a low Credit Limit or other restrictions, based on risks and liabilities of each co-owner.
