Can a member cardholder have two separate account? That would be redundancy using the same SS#. Is this in our policy agreement ?

Can a cardholder member have two separate account utilizing the same social security number and credit file. I’m a little confused and I need to understand how someone I know hold two Apple Card’s accounts. That would be redundancy. Is it in our policy agreement ? Are you able for separate our account and extend it to a family member? Is that something that is happening here?

That’s a question for Goldman Sachs Bank, issuer and servicer of Apple Card accounts. I don’t know anyone personally that has two accounts and per the terms and conditions of the Apple Card Customer Agreement, there is only one account per Social Security number and Apple ID. While it’s permitted to have more than one Apple ID, the one Social Security number would, at least in theory, be hard to get around. In researching this I did see a reference on a social media site where a poster had two separate accounts (didn’t say how), but that GS had closed them both.
