how to match the color using Freeform

Can you help? I love using Freeform for sketching.

it very difficult to match the specific color. Is there a way to scan and re-create a color of a specific item. If not, is there any work around. Thanks in advance

Click on the Format menu and Show Colors. There is a color picker (looks like an eyedropper in the lower left hand corner. Select it and you can pick any color on your entire screen by just clicking on the color. The selected color appears on the palette of custom colors.

There is also the /Applications/Utilities/Digital Color Meter which will give you precise measurements of a color over which you hover the mouse.

I absolutely understand your frustration with matching colors using Freeform for sketching. While Freeform is an excellent tool for creative expression, achieving precise color matching can be a bit challenging.

One workaround you can try is taking advantage of the eyedropper tool. If you have a digital image or a reference image of the specific item you want to match the color of, you can use the eyedropper tool to sample that color and apply it to your sketch. This way, you'll be able to get closer to replicating the desired color.

Another approach is to use color codes. If you have the exact color code (e.g., HEX, RGB) of the color you want to use, you can input it directly into Freeform's color picker. This will give you a precise match without the need for scanning or sampling.

Remember, achieving an exact match may not always be possible due to variations in screens and color perception. However, these techniques should help you get as close as possible to your desired color.

Happy sketching and best of luck with your creative endeavors! You can get creative with coloring pages here: https://disegnidacolorarewk.com/
