Unlike iPhone, no iPad models support inductive charging.


There are, however, some third-party add-on accessories that can add inductive charging capabilities - but these ultimately must connect the the iPad via the iPad’s Lightning/USB-C charging port.


You should also be aware that inductive charging is considerably less efficient that a direct wired connection. As such, no matter what inductive charging solution is used, with any device, charging will be both less efficient and take longer that a direct wired connection.


Also consider that iPad devices have much larger batteries - and power requirements - than you typical mobile phone.
