My laptop isn’t turning on. It’s been charging, so it’s not out of battery. I’ve held down the power button many times, but it doesn’t turn on - it’s just a black screen. I was wondering whether my laptop needs to get fixed or if I need to do something else to turn it on.

When you say it's been charging I'm assuming the green light on the end of the charging cable has illuminated which would indicate the battery is fully charged. If it's still orange that would indicate the battery is NOT fully charged.
