Help, my headphones have stopped working on my iPad 16.2. The headphones work on other devices and they used to work on my iPad.

If you are having difficulties, begin by updating your iPad to the current version of iPadOS - at the time of writing, this being iPadOS 16.4.1.
Settings > General > Software Update
Would these be Bluetooth headphones connecting wirelessly to your iPad - or wired headphones with a 3.5mm headphone plug that you use with a USB-C audio adapter? Something else?
They are wired headphones - have both the 3.5 mm plug and the regular plug
