If your iPhone is frozen on white screen, start by doing a Forced Restart:
1. Press and quickly release Volume Up
2. Press and quickly release Volume Down
3. Press and hold the Side Button
You will see the Shutdown Screen during this process, but KEEP holding the Side Button. Your iPhone will turn off and when you see the Apple Logo, release the Side Button.
