I have an iCloud email address associated with my non iCloud Apple ID.
I have an additional iCloud e-mail address linked to my non iCloud Apple ID, which I can delete - but I cannot delete the iCloud email address associated with my non iCloud Apple ID. I want to delete it as I get scammers on it. Can I delete the associated iCloud email address without changing my non iCloud Apple ID?
The main iCloud email associated with an Apple ID cannot be deleted nor turned off.
The best you can do, is to create a rule, to send anything that comes into that account to the trash.
Go to https://icloud.com and then open the Mail section, then click on the settings cog, then on Preferences, then click on rules. Then a create a rule there, that moves everything to the trash.
Many thanks, I now have some spam emails going straight to junk through the process of deleting them or redirecting them, but I will take your suggestion on board.
